3. Judges – A change to Show Management Rule IX, Section 2 to conform the language of the HHSA Rule to the MHSA Rule
and to limit the frequency that any judge can appear at HHSA shows.
b. Judge’s Qualifications:
1. He/she must be a Registered or Recorded Judge of the USEF or MHSA.
c. No judge may officiate more than 3 times in HHSA pointed shows in any year nor may any judge officiate more than once
in any 30 day period.
This change becomes effective December 1, 2005.
4. To add a description to Best Child Rider on Pony, Best Child Rider on a Horse and Best Adult Rider.
These three trophies will be awarded to the Best Junior member on a pony, the Best Junior member on a horse and Best Adult
at the HHSA Benefit show, as chosen by the Judges and the HHSA committee. They will be chosen on the basis of riding skills
and ability at the HHSA Benefit Show.5. To change the criteria for Grand Champion Overall pony/horse to provide that the award
is determined on the basis of total points accumulated in any two non-equitation divisions.

Proposed Rule: Prize awarded to the grand champion on the basis of total points accumulated in any two non-equitation divisions.
6. To change the rules for schooling pony and green pony divisions to provide that only junior members may ride ponies.
A. A green pony is a pony of any age that is in its first year of showing over fences and has not shown anywhere over fences,
equitation and merited divisions included. A pony eligible for this division may go in the hack class ONLY without breaking
its green. No under saddle points will count towards year-end awards unless the animal also completes a course in an over
fences class in the same division at the same show. Juniors and seniors may ride ponies in this division. Green ponies do
not gallop. Ponies may only show in this division one year; however, ponies may simultaneously show in any other division.Juniors
may ride ponies in the Schooling Pony Hunter division.
7. To add a division "Modified Hunter" open to horses and ponies. Horse/rider combination may not show in any pointed performance
division at that show. Ponies jump 2’, horses jump 2’3". Adults may ride ponies.
Sample classes: Modified Hunter O/F, Modified Hunter Combo, Modified Hunter U/SThis division is intended to provide a stepping
stone for long stirrup riders not yet ready to ride in pointed performance divisions and to provide a division for green animals,
not yet ready to ride in pointed divisions. This is a pointed division. Placements 1 – 6 with champion and reserve at
each show.8. To amend the long stirrup rules to provide: open to riders age 11 and over as of December 1 of the prior year.
This division is intended to be for older beginner riders and those riders not yet able to show in regular pointed divisions.
To amend the sample class list for long stirrup and to specify that the Long Stirrup Division is not intended to be used for
schooling green animals.
Section 7 - Long Stirrup Division
a. Merit Awards (See Section 5, Annual Awards).
b. Eligibility - A rider may not cross enter between this division and any pointed division at the same show.
c. Judged totally on equitation
d. Open to riders age 11 and over as of December 1 of the prior year. This division is intended to be for older beginner
riders and those riders not yet able to show in regular pointed divisions.
e. This division is not intended to be used for schooling green animals.
